The Crisis
4:17am on February 6, 2023.
An earthquake, of 7.8 magnitude hit the town of Gaziantep, in the southern part of Turkey. In just 80 seconds the earthquake had caused over 10,000 aftershocks that spread all across the region of southern and central
Turkey and northern and western Syria.
55,700+ people dead and over thousands still under heavy crumble. The death toll keeps rising, but the ones who survived are left with no shelter, food, water, or basic sanitarian practices.
A crisis that neither country can face alone.

The first font that demonstrates the scale of damage experienced by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake. This typography led campaign features a series of posters, an educational book, and an immersive experience. The goal is to raise funds for humanitarian aid that goes directly to the ones affected.
